Diary of a Grown Ass Woman
Hey there, I’m Nikita!
33-year-old advertising powerhouse who packed up my life in India and landed in Sydney’s vibrant chaos. With over 10 years in the game at agencies like Publicis Groupe (Leo Burnett), Dentsu, and indie spots, I’ve led killer campaigns for brands like OPPO, Volvo Cars, Diageo, ANZ, IKEA, and government gigs with Greater Sydney Parklands and Tourism Western Australia. Think integrated strategies, performance media, programmatic ads, event activations, and sponsorships that drive real growth – like 30%+ revenue boosts and award-winning work (shoutout to my Kyoorius 2021 win).
But here’s the real talk: moving abroad in your 30s isn’t all harbour views and flat whites. It’s culture shocks, rental wars, job hunts with a foreign CV, loneliness bombs, and that constant immigrant hustle. That’s why I created @grownassdiary – as my alter ego, “Diary of a Grown Ass Woman” – unfiltered videos and stories on overcoming those hurdles in Sydney, from burnout to building friendships, getting the love of my life (my dog) to the Land Down Under; all while slaying in my career. Whisky enthusiast (mentally atm, blame the Diageo days), rock & metal music junkie, and forever figuring it out.
